Having worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to meet the needs of clients both new and old, Brown Turner Ross team of solicitors have juggled office life and working from home to continue to provide guidance and support throughout the pandemic.
With our team priding itselves on its flexibility and thoroughness, our most recent success came with long-term friends Kingswood Homes – in another example of Brown Turner Ross working around the clock in a swift, professional and efficient manner to produce the best results for our clients.
Eight weeks ago Kingswood Homes agreed to buy a site in Lancashire and have been working on the deal ever since – with their team, headed up by managing director Paul Jones putting in a large amount of resource.
However, at the last minute, there was another offer from a PLC national housebuilder which threatened to scupper the deal for Kingswood Homes and the flexibility and quick-thinking of both Kingswood and Brown Turner Ross were called upon to save the day. The deal with Kingswood was revived on the condition that they exchanged contracts that very day. The boardroom of Brown Turner Ross then hosted an all day meeting with Kingswood and Kevin Ross of Brown Turner Ross where the outstanding issues were resolved with plenty of back and forth with the Sellers. Contracts were eventually exchanged late into the evening and the deal was saved, thanks in no small part to team BTR!
Kevin Ross, managing director, Brown Turner Ross, said:
“No job is too big or too small for Brown Turner Ross and it is important to remember that our job is often 24/7, with this example just one of many, in which we have worked around the clock to produce the best possible outcome for our client. Kingswood Homes can now progress to the next stage of this deal and it is again a glowing testimonial for everyone involved at both Kingswood and Brown Turner Ross as to what can be achieved when parties are flexible and prepared go the extra mile to achieve what is required. Something that is not always possible for the PLC companies in terms of speed of action.”
