Chris Mason - Director & Solicitor - Commercial Law & Litigation


Chris completed his law degree in 2008 and began his legal career in 2009 after completing his final qualifying examinations at The College of  Law in Chester. He qualified as a solicitor in 2013. From the outset of his career he has been involved exclusively in civil litigation and has acted for clients in relation to a wide variety of disputes.

Chris joined the Firm in February 2016 and was appointed as a Director in February 2018. He specialises in commercial dispute resolution, property litigation, non-contentious corporate matters and employment law.

Originally from East Yorkshire he moved to Liverpool in 2008 whilst studying in Chester. Since then he has never looked back and Liverpool is now where he calls home.

Away from the office Chris enjoys

  • waterskiing & wakeboarding
  • motorsport - particularly driving at track days
  • going to live events such as concerts & comedy shows
  • eating out - particularly grill and seafood restaurants

An RAF pilot - as it turned out my eyesight wasn't up to it.

If you could to back in time where would you go?

Probably to 1950's London or New York - think 'Mad Men'!

Robert De Niro, Ricky Gervais and Jennifer Lawrence

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Slipping on the way to a client meeting and tearing the knee of my suit.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Single malt whisky.
