Frank is Head of Business Development which means he is responsible for:

  • Marketing Strategy
  • Our website
  • Client retention and development
  • Internal & External Communications

This role sees him at the centre of making potential Clients aware of the Firm and ensuring that we keep in touch with existing Clients and provide them with added value. Taking the Brown Turner Ross brand to new business sectors and developing new opportunities for the Firm to become more widely recognised for its expertise is what drives Frank on.

He is also an extremely experienced Advocate in the Magistrates Court representing Clients throughout England & Wales on a wide range of Motoring Prosecutions. Many of our individual and business Clients have Frank to thank for their avoiding a disqualification from driving.

Frank has a background covering a broad area of the Law having previously:

  • Represented Prison Officers at Inquests
  • Represented Psychiatric Nurses before the United Kingdom Nursing Council
  • Addressed two major Conferences and Liverpool Law Society Members on legal issues
  • Been a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel
  • Appeared on behalf of his Clients on national TV & Radio

Currently, Frank appears on a Community Radio Station on a weekly basis reviewing the stories that have been featured in the business Press having also presented the entire 2 hour Programme himself.

  • Reading – especially Sporting and Political Biographies
  • Cooking – a superb Seafood Linguine chef!
  • All things Italian having recently passed Italian GCSE with an A* Grade

If not the Captain of Liverpool F C then an British Ambassador in some exotic country

What would be your Desert Island Disc/Book?

B B King’s Greatest Hits and The World Atlas of Wine to remind me of what I was missing!

Who would be your 3 perfect Dinner guests?

Richard Burton, Bill Shankly and Sophia Loren

If you could go back in time where would you go?

Renaissance Italy and be King of Naples.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Arriving one Sunday night in Hull to represent Clients at a 4 day Inquest to find I had packed several suits, shirts and ties but no shoes other than the white Trainers I had driven up in – end result a nervous wait outside a Department Store at 8.45am hoping they had a pair of black shoes size 11G! They did!

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Anything chocolate especially involving caramel and fine red wine but not at the same time!

Who would play you in a film?

Certainly not Ronnie Corbett so ideally Robert de Niro or George Clooney but I guess I’m more likely to get John Cleese!
