James is a Criminal Law Specialist with vast experience of representing Clients across a broad spectrum of Criminal Offences. James is a CLAS qualified Duty Solicitor and member of the Sefton Duty Solicitor Scheme. He has a Higher Court Advocacy qualification and has established an excellent reputation for representing client’s facing Charges in the Crown Court. He has also represented Clients in Very High Cost Fraud Cases as an Advocate in the Court of Appeal as well as appearing in the Crown Court as an Advocate in a Murder Case.

If you could go back in time where would you go?

Ancient Greece so I could hang out at the school of Athens with Plato and Aristotle for a while and seek out their wisdom concerning the challenges posed by modern society.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Running into a girl I recognized from school and had not seen for years and asking her how many months pregnant she was? (you guessed it – she wasn’t aaaargh!).

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Haagen Daas Ice Cream
